Engineer/Systems Analyst
For Condition Based Maintenance
(CBM) Integration into the Aviation
Data Exploitation Capability (ADEC) Program
Description:
AVNIK Defense Solutions, Inc. is
seeking experienced, degreed Engineers (from an ABET accredited institution) and Systems Analysts (with Army Aircraft Systems
experience or Prior Military Service) to support Operational-level programmatic support for Condition Based Maintenance (CBM)
integration into the Aviation Data Exploitation Capability (ADEC) Program for a variety of Army Aviation Programs in Huntsville,
AL.
Background: Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) is a set of maintenance processes and capabilities
derived, in large part, from real-time assessment of weapon system condition, obtained from embedded sensors and/or external
tests and measurements. Ultimately, these practices will increase operational availability and readiness
at reduced cost while reducing the burden on the aviation maintainer. The Aviation Data Exploitation Capability
(ADEC) will support Army Aviation manned and unmanned, rotary and fixed wing aircraft improving aviation maintenance, flight
operations, safety and training. ADEC will provide and enable valuable diagnostics, prognostics, logistics,
safety and risk reduction, and flight operations knowledge to the crew, maintainers, logisticians, and leaders at all levels.
It is imperative, therefore, to integrate the full capabilities of health monitoring technologies and methods (i.e.,
CBM) into the ADEC Program.
Summary: Successful
candidates will provide analysis and recommendations supporting the Project Manager for Aviation Systems (PM AS) in the identification
of functional requirements of CBM that will be integrated into the ADEC System Functional Specification. The
